LATTC T-Shirt Design

LATTC T-Shirt Design Concept

This t-shirt design was created for Los Angeles Trade Technical College’s screen printing classes as lead by Bert Johnson, inspired by the college’s hands-on, creative spirit. The illustration features a hand seamlessly merging with tools —a paintbrush, wrench, and scissors—symbolizing the diverse vocational programs offered at LATTC, from graphic and fashion design and construction to culinary arts and beyond.

The quote, "A heart to resolve, a head to contrive, and a hand to execute," reflects the balance of creativity and technical skill.

I explored two versions: a detailed full illustration and a bold halftone style optimized for screen-printing. The design’s minimal color palette, accented by LATTC’s signature logo, mirrors the college’s strong presence in DTLA and its impact on my own creative journey.

LATTC Digital Signage Design

This digital signage system was designed for Los Angeles Trade Technical College and has been published and displayed across multiple campus locations. The design blends vibrant gradients, dynamic patterns, and bold color splashes to reflect LATTC’s energetic, diverse, and creative community.

Each screen layout balances informational clarity with visual impact, making key details like office hours, campus announcements, and student resources easily accessible. The consistent branding with the LATTC logo and welcoming message creates a cohesive identity across all displays, while the fluid design elements mirror the college’s focus on innovation and student engagement.

This project highlights my ability to create functional designs that are not only visually engaging but also enhance campus communication in a modern, student-friendly way.
